Yep, Your check in WOL confirms what I found about an hour before sunset. ๐Ÿ˜Ž

Hold the beer and cover the cake!๐ŸŽ‚Let's wait and see if some individual is taking the time off due to a complete lack of interest!๐Ÿ˜„

Hi Fan, Doka, and Riddick,

#1: Lower viewers/guests on line daily

The fact new pirate bloods cannot join FF could be a factor for any guest wannabe Capt. Obvious.

#2: This inherited pop up link below on repeat could be rejecting visitors left and right.....not meaning any choice of politics.๐Ÿ”

I once was a years on Moderator for Joshua P. Warrens L.E.M.U.R. Team and I'm still vigilant for a blind Admin Madmart at Supernatural Earth; so I do have experience running off sod busting bots and spammers. The last one able to register 2+ years ago at FF is still an active ad man/woman/or it! Lol ๐Ÿ”ฆ ๐Ÿ’ฃ

I could be reading more into it yet seems to me there's more than a little 'hint hint nudge nudge' going on here about the on-again-off-again 'page not found' issue?

I've emailed Fan. I don't doubt in due time he'll come by with a reply.

I just realized that when I get a 404 on firefox it works in chrome...

I'm so fed up with this issue, cannot fix it, been working with the supoprt team at the hosting and they are also stumped.

We haven't had signups open here for a long time, we got nothing but spammers. I may open it again if I can ever fix the damned ship!

Quite the conundrum. A problem with no solution is no fun at all.

Did that idea to move to a new server fall thru?

I have not been able to get it running yet either.

Am I right tho not yet running, a move there's not of the equation, being more a matter of time? If so, so much nothing else has worked hopefully it pans out.

I'm more than willing to keep fingers & toes crossed in the meantime.

It's all caught up and thanks Fan and Riddick.

But low and behold, unless the genius is dead, the human that somehow had the skills to spin my views counts in my 2002 Paranormal topic twice in 3-4 days, might be busy here again! Hmm!

Once in a while checking "Who's online" one would see about 15 guests just on the "Index page" plus a few scattered elsewhere.๐Ÿค”

That's just me thinking about that old mystery #'s maker on steroids. Whereas I have no real pc skills to amaze anyone. ๐Ÿ˜‚

Good luck Fan.๐Ÿ˜Ž

See the announcement deck for details but we have moved to another server.

Raggedyann wrote: โ†‘10-24-2022 07:19 AM Why would you want to keep this place going Fan? The FF is nothing like it used to be in any way shape or form and never will be again. If you think you are doing any kind of honor to the previous administrator and past posters by keeping it going, you are sadly mistaken. That would be pathetic!

This place was center left and the quality of the many posters that were here then made it a special place to hang out.

Sorry but the FF died years ago.

No response is required as I will make this my last read and for sure my last post.
Forums come and go.
The fact that the FF is alive today and not a memory of a time that no longer exists, is because Fan has a love for what this place once represented. I can say with experience that 90% of all once popular forums are dead or dying in 2023.
There may come a time when forums are popular again, but I assume that won't be the case.
People today aren't interested in holding conversations anymore.

I agree with You CoastZone! We have entered the ""Twilight Zone" of Communication of any kind, Realty has been so warped, It is truly hard to tell which way is "UP" . It has become a war for the "Human Psyche" All I know is, that without "Freedom", There will be no "Winners" of Any Kind.
