Art Bell Bumper Music

Post by boogbot » 01-02-2006 01:39 PM

i was pretty much a fan of urban music growing up, but i really fell in love with a lot of art's bumper music that he played throughout the years.

i have compiled a list of most of the ones that he played on a regular basis, but this one in particular is driving me crazy because i need to know the name of the song!

it's probably a no-brainer for most of you, but i was born in the 80's and my parents really didn't listen to much music so they couldn't help me.

staple art bell c2c song. know the name? i grabbed the link for the kingdomofnye webpage.

thanks!

Boogbot, Bellisma is the resident Song&Lyric expert, but until she happens by, I can tell you that it is "SOS" by ABBA.

But if you meant it to be a funny because of the FF mention, it was. ;) Thanks!

Thanks for that fun audio file!
Yes indeed thats 70's Swedish Sensation group ABBA, one of Art's all time favorites. I bought the ABBA's Greatest Hits CD after hearing many of the tracks played by Art over the years - I recommend it. Another one Art plays from them is "Waterloo"

That audio must be from quite a few years ago, it was an introduction to a night with guest Major Ed "Dr. Doom" Dames and Art mentioned it was a Friday night - he hasn't hosted regular Friday nights for several years.

can i get two more song ids please? one is the abooma song and the other one is the cool but somewhat spooky bagpipe song.

if you don't know what i mean by the bagpipe song, it has no lyrics and has a very epic feel to it and has from what i can tell bagpipes playing in the background.

thanks!

I think the spooky bagpipe song is by Lorraina McKenna.
