I love it! Can you guess I'm a Dodger fan.
They are only the fifth team in modern history to do this.

Well, better late than never, I suppose... Joe Quinn.
You stated the only real reason to go any more.
Well, besides hanging out with the family or a bunch of friends. Seeing millionaire cry babies turn America's favorite pastime into a joke makes me stay home more than anything these days. sigh... It has changed much. I think I still hang on to the dream that it was when I was little kid. (I need to grow up).
Still, I do like cracking peanuts and getting mad at the ump. Guess there's hope.

You got that right vigo, the average family can't afford to go to a baseball game anymore, having said that I watched a recap on the 68 World Series when the Detroit Tigers beat the St. Louis Cardinals....never will forget the day they won, traffic jams everywhere and people dancing under stop lights, since I couldn't get home from work I joined them, that Series was so important for the Detroit area, we were still reeling from the 67 riots and this definitely was a healing process. The last game I attended at Tiger Stadium was in 84, it was the night the Tigers won the division and ultimately won the World Series that year...sweet.
