Domestic Energy Reserves By The Numbers

Post by Riddick » 03-10-2022 11:56 AM

Gas prices in the U.S. are at a record high. They're only going to keep getting higher. Joe Biden just banned oil imports from Russia, which is sure to accelerate the spike. There's no end in sight.

Literally, the end is not in sight—it's underground.

The U.S. is sitting on roughly a third of a TRILLION barrels of oil (as well as 3,000 TRILLION cubic feet of natural gas)… so we should probably get at that if we want to see prices drop—and most importantly it would keep prices down by making the U.S. energy independent.

"Wow!" you might say. "So why aren't we going full-bore full-tilt to snatch up all of these valuable natural resources, secure our country's future, boost our economy and stop relying on tinpot strongmen halfway across the world for any of our energy needs?"

That's a great question. There are a variety of answers. What obviously needs to happen is government needs to get out of the way as much as feasibly possible, and private interests need to go all-in on getting American fossil fuels out of the ground, through American refineries, and into American cars and homes.

There's a whole ocean of oil under our feet, and no one can get at it except for us. The time to hurry this along is now. Gas prices aren't going anywhere but up.

No shortages any where that have NOT BEEN CREATED! I have no idea about the rest of the world's people, but Americans will have a hard time, Not creating something out of nothing, I am beginning to think that the current Government Idioligy, is quite out of date, You can only lie to the ignorant for so long. In the meantime, words like, CAN'T , IMPOSSIBLE, just don't register, with the young Entrepreneurs, are simply not going to accept "No" for an answer. They better decide to kill us all or we are Forever going to be intollerble pests to their Way.
