The favorite mode of transpotation in Guatemala

For 20 years now I've had a dream of sailing my own boat off into the sunset.

Ah, I can just see Michael Palin bouncing up and down on one of the hard seats, trying to glean an interesting story from a fellow passenger....

Well I tell ya, the first couple of trips (and most trips period for a lot of folks) you have to be on LSD to get through. You should see these guys drive and pass on the mountain roads.

You remember a lot of prayers you think you forgot.

All right...

Somehow I managed to overlook the entire Lost Harbour & Dry Dock thread for all these years. Just took a look at it all.

Sheesh...

Megman - I raise my glass to you, man. It's not easy to travel like that, and it's even harder to build a gigantic boat.

Good luck, and maybe we'll run into one another on a chicken bus down in Guatemala, or on a gangplank in Montevideo.

Yeah, ol' megman sure gets around for a humble Zamboni driver..

I'd about forgot about that boat..

Hey Squid, that was actually luxury travel.;)

You probably missed these sordid tales as the Dry Dock was probably boarded up just before you arrived.

Hopefully some day in the not too distant future, the saga will continue........:coolhat:
