George sounded totally lost talking to those two.
Krieger even used the word "****ting" at one point; they were in total control of the interview (which was fine, just not the way it's supposed to be).

Because of Art Bell he made the Doors big again along with hundreds of other groups using their music as bumper. Riders on the Storm just one. This site has all the youtube songs.

Probably because George seems to have virtually no knowledge of pop culture outside of Twilight Zone episodes. When George affirmed that Bob Dylan wrote American Pie made me gag. It only took him a hour to figure out it wasn't a Dylan song.

I hate the rock and roll shows. They're boring as sh*. R Gary Patterson puts me to sleep. He just sounds like an ex hippy trying to make mystery out of boredom. The Doors put out a few good tunes but jesus christ, they aren't worth repeated visits by Boring Gary Patterson and his boner over the mystery of Jim Morrison's death. zzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz
