I would almost bet that is what caused those Dolphins to go up Boston harbor.
I don't doubt that SONAR has a lot to do with it. But we should also factor in the unusually warm temperatures they've had - ones that allowed the Spring plants and trees to bud and bloom before this cold snap hit. Plus, the 120mph winds some places in Europe have had in the past 10 days, and I've only heard
that mentioned ONCE ... on The Weather Channel - nowhere else.
The dolphins, if they swam in the wrong direction, would have had NO CLUE, because the Atlantic waters were unusually warm, as well. By the time they figured anything was amiss, providing they
did, it would have been more than enough to make them commit suicide. They couldn't navigate; the weather and water temperatures changed -- they lost their survival instincts, and decided to end it all.
