CaptainBeyond was a band in the seventies and I'm sure that they had many fans, including Captain Beyond.

CB - had been giving you the benefit of the doubt. Check back after the 'election', maybe.

So it wasn't all so down and dirty as some of you are supposing.

Not sure what you mean here? ... Are you saying that your opinion is that what bobkitty did was NOT that dirty? Did you see that photo's that he 'shopped' ... especially the one w/ Faedrea's picture??? Please clarify whatcha meant. I'm confused.

p.s.
Encore post ...

I also think that the accusations should not be posted until the evidence is confirmed. Otherwise its just a big accuse-fest, and that isn't good for anyone and will doubtfully yield positive results.

I am in agreement with Dev, that we should be circumspect here regarding accusations against posters. These are not normal times, however - and we had been warned about potential disruptors.

If you all recall, Bobcat's account had been suspended pending a 'vote' by FF Pirates on this very issue. The slight majority of opinion came out in favor of not banning suspected disrupters - for freedom of speech and that the issue could be handled by the Pirates.

Hmmmmm. Wish now I had just gone with my first intuition on this. The disruptions are planned and are a zero sum 'game'. No one 'wins'.

Let's keep our vigilance, but not let this issue continue to dominate our debate here on the real issues. We don't want to give 'them' that either.

Thank you again Linnea, also:

"Hmmmmm. Wish now I had just gone with my first intuition on this."

Its not too late IMHO. I was for not banning back then but after all of this I have changed my mind, maybe others have too.

Fae, the registration has been closed for at least the past two-three weeks. It is unfortunate, but needed, I think. Someone astutely pointed out that there had probably been many aliases registered already, so we need to keep on it here.

Also want to state here, Bush supporters among our crew, even newer crew members, are welcome to exercise their rights as members of this forum to express their views. We are not trying to repress these views. Unfortunately, this issue of the deliberate freeper attacks, is probably serving to put the Bush supporters here on edge.

Please do not fear to post pro-Bush opinion here on the FF. There has been a very high level of emotion and response here during this election cycle. We will not be able to avoid this, and we should all try to temper our posts, and be respectful of honestly held but differing opinions.

Yes, I agree. Nor should it discourage honest posters like Ben and Racehorse and others from posting.
