I don't know what that one is - it's a volunteer, so I'm guessing seeds from somebody's bird feeder ended up in the yard.

And we can not overlook the jealous boyfriend, hiding in the palm tree & busy on his cell phone - but not too busy to notice the amorous stare of the chef!

On a seed collecting expedition, a rare Mariposa Lily (calochortus obispoensis) was spotted. It only grows in serpentine, & I think it's range is only a few square miles.
