Obamacare's National Hotline:1-800-F**KYO

Post by Doka » 10-03-2013 11:56 AM

Need health care coverage? Just dial 1-800-F**KYO to reach Obamacare’s national hotline.

Need health insurance? The Obama administration has you covered. Simply dial 1-800-****YO to reach the next available health-care provider. Far from being a mistype, that’s the official number that Health and Human Services wants Americans to dial when seeking health care. Obamacare’s national call center really did list its number as 1-800-318-2596, helpfully spelling out President Barack Obama’s tendency to blatantly flip the bird in plain view. This is one of those times in life, where the truth is much more "bazaro" than any fiction written. Ha!:lolchimp:

Nice. Could be just an incredibly apropos coincidence I suppose.

Still, who's to say a certain clever someone somewhere along the line in the 800 number assignment process found an opening to stick it to the Man, picked it up and ran with it?

At the same time, clearly no one in the administration ever bothered to investigate potentially embarrassing letter combinations.

Anahoo, it's too late now. I guess getting a new (and "alphabetically correct") number is its next step, after wiping off the egg on its face.

Hasn't the initial roll out inspired confidence in you??????

The 800 number is absolutely pricelss and I will make you all a bet- we will STILL end up with the same uninsured.

Someone said on the radio today regarding some state where a family premium for 4 was $721.00. The reporter said "heck you can lease a new Mercedes for that per month". The implication being who in the heck wants to buy health insurance when I can drive/lease a new Mercedes.

Purchasing and paying for health insurance is not sexy at all but hey driving a new car - now that works.

It is far cheaper to pay the annual fine that to buy the insurance.

So, the argument being made is that if there are a group of young males (in their 20s) - in relatively good health, chances are that they are thinking "Why would I pay nearly a grand for something I most likely won't need - at least till I'm older? I'll pay the fine and pocket the rest".

And, here's the rub: For Obamacare to work, the government needs ALL young males under 30 to completely buy into this. Right now, in 2013, there are 15-24 years: 13.8% males 22,112,002

Chances are these people aren't going to fork over nearly one thousand dollar annually. They're trying to figure out (a) if they can get a job, (b) if they can afford college (c) what's happening on date night (not in particular order).

So, now is the time for the greater good of the country all young adult American men under 30 need some serious convincing to get their priorities straight and put first things first by buying into Obamacare?

Hey, no problemo! Leave it to the man with a Harvard education. When Barry talks, people listen. Then again, if he could listen to some of his off-the-cuff stuff BEFORE he says it and just stick to the script, maybe he'd sound less like an ex-Congressman that doesn't know what the hell he's talking about...

Well we can pull Uncle Sam out for the EPA so surely the President and the Dems could bring out the young folks in a sort of "Obamacare draft".

AND WORSE YET:

Many insurance companies are pulling OUT of several states - why -oh gee OBAMACARE -duh. There is a listing from Aetna, Humana, BCBS, among the top insurance companies. Now some of the BCBS are not as they are broken into different groups. YOU all should take a quick search to see if your state is losing insurance companies. Top ten are listed under TOP TEN - but there are more....

NOW -- Obama is also threatening to stop sending out SS checks - gee that would mean a loss of $$ to Part B (current $105 per person per month.)

OH and IBM is reducing hours on all its seniors who work for them... and gee ObamaCare is higher costs yet.

I guess that when you're so arrogant in your planning that you think that you know with absolute certainty how things will work - and they don't.... I dunno. Is that just poor planning? Being naive? Bad advice???? Is there an wonder as to why the Democrats didn't want the other members of Congress to read the bill before passage?

Once again......... you have to now hat it is you're doing BEFORE implementing a plan. Any plan. You'd think that, for something of this scale, that Obama would surround himself with advisers. Perhaps he did, but certainly not those with the best interests of the poorer among us.

There are no coincidences. :)
