No surprise here is there?

The quote below from the individual teaching the class is priceless.

"Appel told the New York Post that while her involvement with the movement will color the way she teaches it will not prevent her from being an objective teacher."

Wonder how many taxpayer dollars are funding this.

Academic claims of objectivity are fleeting and curious these days. Most of the time they don't support the basic concept of "objectivity," but I assume they're got a political reason for doing so in this case.

Say, speaking of coverage - or the lack of same by the Big 3 Networks this midterm Political Football Season - Much to the chagrin of Democrats, 2014 may go down as the year of the Angry Latinos...

Frustrated Hispanics Are Down On The Midterms:
Low Turnout Among Key Voting Bloc Would Hurt Democrats

Hispanic voters appear likely to sit out this year’s midterm election in even larger numbers than usual, potentially depriving Democrats of a voting bloc that could make the difference in several tight races.

Many Latinos are angry that efforts to overhaul federal immigration policy are stalled in the Republican-led House, voters and advocates say. But they also are disappointed that President Barack Obama put off any executive action on the issue, including a potential ratcheting back of deportations, until after the election.

That disenchantment with both parties would cost Democrats more, because Hispanics vote Democratic by a wide margin. Some activists are calling on Hispanics to boycott the balloting.

I think that a lot of people are angry, generally, and that this is applicable to all demographics - I think that as the failed promises made during previous election cycles get revisited it reminds people that what we have now in politics is perpetual deadlock.

First the millennials, now the Latinos - seems like the new base for the Democrats are bailing even before they get a full cycle under their belts.

Looks like the Left will give-up more seats - not sure if this is a good thing for the country.....

Sheriff Clarke: Obama ‘Is Hallucinating If He Thinks He Has Improved Race Relations in America’

“Race relations have always been tenuous in America,” said Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. Tuesday during a discussion focused on race relations in America under Obama. “Slavery and discrimination have left an ugly scar on the soul of America, but that scar has been healing over the years.”

As for President Barack Obama’s claim that his presidency has helped “mobilize America on behalf of issues of racial disparity,” he says the opposite is true. “President Obama came along with sandpaper, rubbed it raw, and then poured salt in it to inflame it for political gain,” said Sheriff Clarke. “He doesn't believe that and neither does anybody else.”

"He is hallucinating if he thinks he has improved race relations in America,” said Sheriff Clarke. “The polling shows otherwise. He's delusional if he really believes that.”

David Clarke Jr., a Democrat, was elected sheriff of Milwaukee County, Wisc., to four-year terms in 2002, 2006, 2010 and 2014.

Sheriff Clarke: Obama’s ‘Reign of Terror’ Has Divided The American People

Thursday at the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC) at National Harbor, Maryland, Milwaukee County Sheriff David A. Clarke Jr. said he believes President Barack Obama has damaged race relations in the United States and that he looks forward to when “we can finally turn the page on the Obama reign of terror” and heal some of the divisions Obama has created during his presidency.

CNSNews.com asked Clarke about the notion that as the first African American president, Obama would improve race relations in the United States, whether that had happened, and what the next president could do to bring Americans together.

“He never had any intention of bringing people together,” Clarke said. “He had the opportunity to do that.”

“I think a lot of people, including me, were hopeful that he would take the gains that we’ve made – because race relations will never be perfect, alright?” Clarke said. “But we’ve made great strides in bridging that divide, in bridging that gap and he came along and deconstructed the bridge that existed there because that’s part of his shtick, all right, to strike up animosity, you know.”

“He’s the one that was behind the war on women, pitting men against women, the rich against the poor, you know, the 1 percent [and] now the race relations,” Clarke said. “That’s how he has attained political power.”

“That’s the only thing that he knows how to do,” said the sheriff. “It got him to where he’s at today and that’s why he continues on it.”

As long as you can separate the people, so they don't jointly see the collusion and corruption, they will be your willing stooges.

I just hope I live long enough to see the architects of manipulation dangling lifeless from a rope.

So, to get back to the Bernie Sanders worldview, that the endemic corruption of Wall St, and how the protection of Wall St at all costs by a corrupted Congress , coupled with the complete disconnect on the part of the media that pushes the "protect Wall St at all costs" agenda, we have this:

Why $146,200 is a terrible bonus for Wall Street

NEW YORK — Wall Street is getting stingier with bonuses.

The average bonus tumbled by 9 percent to $146,200 last year, according to data released by the New York State Comptroller’s Office Monday. Bonuses are still much bigger than they were during the financial crisis, but smaller than they were 10 years ago. (The all-time high averaged $191,360 in 2006.)

The decline follows a pretty dismal year for a financial sector that isn’t expected to get much better in 2016. Industry profits fell by 10.5 percent, according to the comptroller’s report. And bank stocks have performed worse than the rest of the market all year. (Shares of Bank of America are down nearly 20 percent so far this year.)

https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/bus ... ll-street/

Remember folks, these are bonuses we're talking about - payments made ON TOP OF salaries and commissions......Most people don't make this amount on two, three of four years of work........

TOTAL disconnect from reality........
