Hooo Boy. Wingnut Poll or Not?

Post by Psychicwolf » 03-23-2010 12:01 PM

Scary New GOP Poll
On the heels of health care, a new Harris poll reveals Republican attitudes about Obama: Two-thirds think he's a socialist, 57 percent a Muslim—and 24 percent say "he may be the Antichrist."

67 percent of Republicans (and 40 percent of Americans overall) believe that Obama is a socialist.

57 percent of Republicans (32 percent overall) believe that Obama is a Muslim 45 percent of Republicans (25 percent overall) agree with the Birthers in their belief that Obama was "not born in the United States and so is not eligible to be president" 38 percent of Republicans (20 percent overall) say that Obama is "doing many of the things that Hitler did" Scariest of all, 24 percent of Republicans (14 percent overall) say that Obama "may be the Antichrist."

What percentage of Democrats still believe September 11th was an inside job and the government steered the hurricane into New Orleans?!

I mean, if you want to compare wing-nuts to wing-nuts........
Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?

Or hell, just watch "Zeitgeist." I bet you could get over 20% of Democrats on record as "sympathetic"....

Whether or not he is actually a "card-carrying" Muslim, he certainly has positioned himself as a defender of that faith. See his recent speech in Cairo (where, by the way, Christian Copts are being actively persecuted and even murdered).

It's sort of like David Icke -- I never took what he said literally, but you could say it has a certain metaphorical truth. Same w/ the poll above.

Take a look at the death toll in Iraq civilians that Shrub started for profit...
Republican - re·pub·li·can (r-pbl-kn) - political party, which will control part of Congress 2011-2012, undermining the strength of the country - on purpose, in public, without apology or shame - simply for a campaign advantage in 2012.

There are radicals in EVERY faith, HB3... we in glass houses shouldn't throw stones at anyone else's faith - only at to what extremes some are willing to go to try to spread the word. I would never advocate that no one should believe in a Higher Power; however, I don't believe in organized religion, either. That doesn't mean I'm going to fire bomb a mosque, a temple, a church, or a tent revival meeting, or go in and harm some evangelical's snakes. President Obama has no right to condemn anyone's religion - not as a Head of State, or as a private citizen. There are good people of all faiths; it's only the radicals who commit the atrocities everyone should condemn.
