Sydney Morning Herald has picked up the story.

Seal Hunt

I was unaware it was illegal to disrupt the herd.

Over the years, rarely have I seen any mention of this issue either in print or electronic media. Maybe it's different in eastern Canada or in the USA but out west it's been historically treated as a non-issue. But today every paper I saw had front page pictures of Paul McCartney and wife posing wit...

I seem to recall seeing a blurb on tv a couple of months ago regarding a sizable Canadian provider which dealt with this topic. From what I gathered, a simular scandal was looming on the horizon but I've yet to see/hear any follow-up to the story.

Welcome to Canada eh! I think you'll find the transition into the Great White North a easy one. We're all kind of laid back and don't get excited about too much. Vancouver winters are mild but the rainfall is aplenty. The winter Olympics are there in 2010 so there's a lot of excitment surrounding th...

Worm Bites Apple

"Anti-virus experts have discovered the first computer virus targeting machines running Apple's Mac OS X operating system, rather than Microsoft's Windows, news reports said on Friday." Story I know there's several Mac users on FF so this story might be of interest to them. Apple says it's...

SHLWAPI.dll is a remnant from the win95 os and used in win98. It's linked to the browser, registry, processes etc. It's a critical dll and extremely hard to overwrite as a stand alone file. As you've done, installing 98 over your existing edition was probably your only real course of action. The oth...

Ed said that he saw the Space Needle leaning over and that people that worked or lived in downtown Seattle would be greatly affected. I know he said more stuff but I can't recall that right now.

Ed also said he remote viewed his future wife, those Ukraine girls really knock him out apparently.

Can't do exact quotes but remember Art asking Ed about being in the presence of Satan with Ed replying that Satan knew he was there but perceived Ed to be so insignificant that acknowledgement wasn't worth the effort of the dark one. I remember a chill going down my spine when he said that.

The Beatles were also a very well rehearsed, tight live band. A shame most people, including the band, were never able to hear them. As time wore on, The Beatles playing live became an exercise in futility and this was never more evident than the two extrodinary sloppy Budokan concerts. By this time...
