Dublin is burning after a man allegedly stabbed five people at a school, three of them children. Protestors allegedly responded to this latest domestic terror attack by setting fire to vehicles and buildings, including a hotel used to house immigrants.

The world's news media apparatchiks sprang into action. England's BBC bent a knee to the Klaus Schwab types and described the attacker as "an Irish citizen, who has lived in the country for 20 years," somehow forgetting to mention he is apparently Algerian.

Obeisant to their globalist Marxist masters, Irish police & news outlets are referring to the protestors as a "lunatic, hooligan faction driven by a far-right ideology." Or maybe they are tired of attacks by people who are pipelined into their country by globalists.

'Far-right' is the hobgoblin moniker for people who dare stand up for their rights, family and country. A reaction like this is heartening in that it indicates people are not going to just bend over, grab ankles and "eat zee bugz". The elections of Javier Milei and Geert Wilders is also indicative of the rising popular opposition to globalist madness.

Ireland's government is introducing extraordinary legislation to restrict speech, BUT it's NOT horrid right-wingers conspiring to silence nice, decent folks; it's left-wing Wokesters scrambling to stamp out opinions they call "far-right" & certain inconvenient truths.

Urgency to pass the anti-free speech bill increased after a Muslim immigrant stabbed three children, and fed-up working-class Irishmen rioted. The new law would surely have escaped international attention had those riots not happened, but Irish elite eagerness to regulate hate speech has, as internet parlance puts it, "gone viral"

Now the whole world knows Ireland is poised to pass one of the most draconian pieces of legislation in modern times, which will see up to 2 years potential jail time for people possessing literature "likely to incite violence or hatred" against others on grounds of protected characteristics, including race, gender and sexual orientation.

So the new statute is twice removed from the proper province of criminal law: you don't have to commit, or try to incite, violence against anyone. You just need to possess written materials with the potential to incite NOT just violence, but "hatred."







The Irish government has not actually defined in the bill what "hatred" is, saying to do so could "risk prosecutions collapsing". Is that Orwellian, or what? They can't say what the law means, lest prosecutions collapse. Nevertheless, we all get the drift.







A senator for the Green Party, one of three parties in the governing coalition, let the cat out of the bag: "We are restricting freedom, but we are doing it for the common good." But when have people ever been oppressed, except for the common good?

Ireland was once a virtual theocracy, in which sanction of law was used to reinforce Catholic principles. Now pretty much the same thing is happening again. There was once a body with a wonderfully evocative name, the Committee on Evil Literature, which recommended banning publications deemed harmful to Catholic values.

In the old days, when Americans spoke of repression in other lands, the conventional observation was "It can't happen here." But no one is saying that now.
