Well, even as it'd be backing off from what he's already announced that'd definitely be a good move, so much he could see it'd only BE Dark Matter Redux -- 'Course, THAT's where 'Hope He Changed' comes in eh! --

Still, what I have to wonder is, at this point would more fans be disappointed if he DOESN'T do it than if he actually does?

OK now I'm getting excited too. I only hope we're all not in for a big let down...again.

I think we'll get something, who knows what, but some sort of Art :)

Unless something really goes wrong once his non-compete is over in July it will be a free Internet stream from 9PM to midnight Pacific time and $5 a month for the podcast to listen to anytime.

So far no mention of any radio stations picking up the program. Art is wanting to break the path for live stream on the Internet as he feels radio is going the way of the DODO bird.

Not sure I am of the same opinion as I think there is room for both markets.

Guess we will see what shakes out.

Looking forward to having The Voice of Night Radio back. :)

You got a point there Dude although from what I see from relays from his facebook posts and over on Bell Gab where he checks in he seems pretty confident it will happen.

Says he is spending $20K for the studio equipment so at least he may be on but for how long is the question.

Internet podcast is not real new but it does cost and from his posts he is limited to 70K connects to the live stream before the costs really go up.

There are also issues with the music as it seems the music industry wants a couple arms and legs to play music on air or podcast.

I guess time will tell but right now I'm keeping a few positive vibes going for 70-year old Art to at least come back for another year or so before finally retiring.

I wonder what happened to all of the studio equipment Art had in the past? Several times he posted images and videos of his home studio and told about he totally ran and produced the show himself, at least in the early days.

His home studio appeared to a media enthusiast's dream. In addition, he had a dream ham radio shack. One that very few could match and the antennas to go with all of the equipment, including multiple satellite dishes.

Just curious,

A lot of what you saw is his ham radio equipment. The studio equipment he had, and still does, is older analog including tape cartridge players. Remember the time he glued his lips together.

Times have changed since the 90's and early 2K's.

The Sirius stuff they provided then took back.

So bottom line for his broadcast studio he does need to purchase more equipment.
