So are we going to do our annual pirate predictions thread for the coming year? Linn?

Coastin, I just went to the site and it says Ian Punnet is hosting. Could you clarify, please? I hope I'm wrong and you're right!!

Sure! Why not? Will post in Ship's Galley/Community Thread.

So great Art will be onboard with his annual Bell Vault and Predictions Show! Did anyone predict that last year? :D

I very much enjoyed listening to part one last night. It was great to hear Art Bell again. Sadly, I might not get to listen to part two. In any case, I hope everyone has a Happy New Year. It is difficult to believe that it's going to be 2010. With any luck it will be a better and more productive year, for all of us.

It was a great predicition show, I agreed with Art I thought the callers were especially good. I couldn't believe it was the same show that usually has that usually has the most generic and uninteresting callers when Noory is on.

I give full credit for that to the host Art Bell, he very early on said no political prediction. Which I agree they get so boring and would be full of the same bashing crap you hear on Noory show. Art forces the audience to think outside the box and challenge them.

The last time Art hosted C2C (couple of Fridays ago) he said something that really stuck with me. I'm not quoting it fully but he aid something like "Where the unusual and unexpected happens" as I nod my head thinking, yes Art that is what it should be and that is exactly what is wrong with the current host who seems to be wanting to do the same style and topics that you hear everywhere else.

The difference between the quality of overall show when Art is hosting and Noory, it's not even in the same solar system anymore.

It's never been in the same Universe IMO. I only listen to Coast when Art's on.
