Would you think that I could hear Art on 3840 in Buffalo New York with his new antenna? I have a grundig Sat 700 with a long wire.

Hi Peter and welcome,
With the long wire you should be able to pick up Arts signal very well when the conditions are right. I've picked him up in SC on a 2m base antennea/and/or cb base antennea.
The long wire should bring it better, I had one but the wind brought it down.

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!

Art rarely talks about his commercial show on the ham bands. Once in a great while he will mention some brief thing about it, but generally no. Ham radio stations are licensed for amateur transmissions only, no broadcast allowed.
golpemortal - you seem to have a keen interest in ham radio. Do you have a license yet? There are many ham websites with information and study help for passing the licensing exams.

There will always be a few hams here who are able toanswer any questions.
Go for it!

KNYE 95.1 FM - Pahrump
Art's radio station in Pahrump Nevada - KNYE 95.1 FM - carries the C2C show every night. During the day they broadcast the Oldies, mostly 50s - 70s. You can only listen locally in the Pahrump Valley, and I think 107 FM in Las Vegas.
