Thank you John, this thread has been a lot of fun and very informative. Have a great trip to the mine and prosper.

Wow, TAB! Thanks for finding that. To be honest, I don't know if it's the same one or not. It was a loooong time ago. ;) But it's a cool article regardless and has added to the discussion, so thanks, again! I just saw this, so haven't had time to go through and read scans you posted, but I will. Bless yer heart. That was a cool thing you did. :)

And OK, John... Monday... or Tuesday... I'll stay tuned...

I showed this to you before and nobody could see anything. Please take another look. Dale maybe you could use some magic to pull out an image in the center.
This is an enlargement from Lunar Orbiter II H162 of the north face of Copernicus.
Thanks.

Okay, now I'm getting weird. The top half of the picture looks like a group of houses and I mean just like houses here on earth.

The lower part looks like the pictures I posted previously labelled "arches" and "rampart".

I think I'll go lay down now.

I know, it is awesome, in the true sense of the word. The thought of the astronauts' coded conversations, anomalies and alien activity on the moon has kept me up many nights...

This structure is below and to the left of the first previous item from the same Lunar Orbiter photo. The horizontal line is were the negatives meet.

This image was taken from a Lick Observatory photo. It was located to the southeast of crater Holden. It was one of 2 Lick observatory photos sent on CD to me from a NASA photo processing center along with some other photos I requested. I did not request these Lick photos and didn't even know they were available. The object, if it was an object, is not there on later photos.

Edit - I replaced your bitmap John, with a jpeg of the same that will load and show with the page. -Dale

This photo is also from Lunar Orbiter photo of Copernicus. It appears to be 2 tanks or silos venting vapor upward. I also have a LO photo taken a year or 2 later looking directly down and you can make out the tanks/silos but there is no vapor.

I concur Jim. Wow!
Dale...be careful all this great work you are doing may get you a job at NASA and then where would we be!;) :D

Question: The odds of these structures occurring naturally would be astronomical, right?

Edge of my seat...thanks John.
