Whale save by small crew

Post by swimmbadd » 07-17-2011 05:24 PM

Touching story. Once saved the whale put on a show for 45 minutes

I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy!

so did I. It is a real tear-jerker.

If this turns out to be a viral marketing video I may quit youtube forever :)

I was thinking that too..or similar. We're just media cynics, I guess.

I expected a messaged from someone at the end making a plea for less fishing, more whales, less pollution, more heroes..something..but happily got nothing. I didn't go to the youtube site just to hang on to this..

It was by The Great Whale Conservancy..they could use some exposure.

I'd probably have reacted the same way if I'd had the choice. The video is nothing more than some people on a boat that find a whale and cut some net off of it. Now I spoiled it, but you know it's safe.

We should do that more often, be the custodians of the Earth, of the animals and plants on it rather than be the destroyers of the planet as we know it.

Nice post Swimmbadd.
