American Civil War

Post by Guest » 03-19-2006 03:15 PM

After watching "V for Vendetta" I pondered what it would take to start a civil war in America? Seems that far too many are ready to blindly bow down and obey as long as they get their paycheck, starbucks, fast food, etc.

Mind you, I'm not planning on starting one but am curious as to what would it take. Also take into account Titor's prdiction of a civil war in the U.S.

Let's limit it to top five, if you can't think of five that's ok.

It would certainly require hundreds of people in various cities to start it, would also require members of military and police to be on either side.

There's a reason police and military procedure are closely gaurded secrets.

The oil thing...don't count on it.

the t.v. show.....the drooling masses who consider that important are easily distracted by shiny objects and will not revolt.

Actually there's a book out there called Civil War II on this very subject....it's from a far-right perspective, though, so I don't think you'll like it.

And come to think about it, isn't that what all the far-right literature is about?

Marshal Law

Post by Barbie » 04-15-2006 04:55 PM

If every major city west of the Rockies and south of the Mason-Dixon Line awakened tomorrow morning and found themselves under Marshal Law, curfews, and then the troops began going house to house, kicking in doors, confiscating computers, cell phones, and firearms (registered or not) etc. and no life-changing reason was being chanted/sold by the Administration and bought by the choir OR the free-thinkers, the people in Kingman would rise up and make Oatman, AZ the Ruby Ridge of 2006. My money's on the Cowboys, and the undocumented immigrants who would fight to die on American soil!

All it would take for a lot of people is just to have a leader that said do it.....we just need a good statesman....I have ten thousand rounds of revolution buried out in the woods there is just no one to follow and if a person does it on his own he is a terrorist of-course talking about this will soon be against the law. But then I feel safe in the fact that those who outlaw freedom will find a warm place agaist the wall when the revolution come...and it is coming...save your Confederate money es the South will rise again.

Not going to happen...

Because it would be bad for business.... more likely what will happen is areas of shortage leading to civil unreast, in those areas.....like Katrina...

We already have civil war in Amerika, economically at least, but instead of binding together to attack the f'ing capitalist pigs who are out to kill us all, we prey upon each other --- and spare the f'ing capitalist pigs much of the work of extermination...

But this situation has happened before many times in human history. Human nature never learns...

:D :D

Ironically though, HB3, neither thing is too far away from happening.

My theory? Disenfranchise the people. I said it once before, I dare to say it again. Try to take over America, and we'll make the Arab street look like a baby throwing a tantrum. We did a pretty good job of revolution once before, as I recall.

You don't believe me, Sir. JQ. And perhaps Lord Moon. But ask yerself when it was they last tried. I don't hope for this, nor laud this. But I pity no one, our own government most especially, who would seek to destroy America.

When you have a theory for a better country, let me know.

Did you ever stop to think, and then forget to start again?
