I agree. Ian does great interviews. Logical, conversational and witty. My prior post was for John Perkins fans. Analogy time: Not every episode of Buffy the Vampire Slayer was top-notch but if one wants the collection, gotta take them as a whole.

Leaving Britney alone... for now
Cherry, I don't recall the past interview, but the phrase "Economic Hitman" does ring a bell. Just this weekend, I am turning one of my 4 sisters onto Ian Punnett- the Jason the Horse episode. This particular sister has a horse rescue ranch. I think she'll enjoy the episode. Ian was playful yet respectful.

Ian's bringing "feck to the feckless".

What an amazing guest! Perkins was great! He was credible, lived throught it and was saying stuff that I'm sure was uncomfortable for some to hear but it was important to show exactly what is going on here with superpower countries influencing smaller countries. Might have been Ian's best guest of the year.
I was disappointed in Ian himself on this show, for the entire show he tried to do this "fair and balance" approach, desperatly trying to find a Republican/Conservative sympathizer to the issues. Instead of asking the better question is why isn't that side mindset or supporters view this topic as a world problem as much as liberals or democrates supporters do.
I was annoyed that such a fantastic guest was kind of wasted in the last 15-20 minutes of the show due to all the callers rather talk about the Pentagon 911 circumstances with Ian rather than focusing on the guest. I put blame on call screeners in not focusing on callers that should be focused on the guest but some blame on Ian too for getting too involved in defending his opinion and going against the callers instead of steering the questions to what the guest thinks.

I'm not usually an apologist for the hosts, but I think Ian has been a little out of his element politically lately. I respect him for trying, but yes, the interview fell off when he didn't want to go there.I was disappointed in Ian himself on this show, for the entire show he tried to do this "fair and balance" approach, desperatly trying to find a Republican/Conservative sympathizer to the issues.
