Ian Punnett - goes live

Post by Linnea » 04-30-2005 12:28 PM

Received a 5th Anniversary message and congratualtions from Ian Punnett for the Pirates of the Fantastic..

You can now hear Punnett live on his 'Balanced Breakfast' morning show from St Paul. Ian and his wife Margery co-host a show during the morning drive from 107 FM St Paul - 5 AM to 9 AM Central.

Ian also said he may make a few guest host appearances on C2C from time to time.

Also says his show from 107 FM is not much like C2C, but then - what is?

Thanks for the info, I had his show bookmarked and forgot about it. I did listen a few times, sure isn't anything like C2C but enjoyed it.

Great coincidence. I was googling his name, just the other day - wondering what ever happened to him. I really enjoyed his guest spots, on CtoC. He had a really unique take on current events, such as Vatican intrigue, Dead Sea Scrolls, Ancient cities, etc. Very cool guy.

I'm a regular listener as I live in the Twin Cities area. Ian and Margery have a wide range of guests on--they talk about pretty much everything from current events to books to relationship issues. I've heard a couple of interviews about some subjects that could fly on C2C like indigo children, intuitiveness, and the like.

The more you listen, the more you get sucked into the on-air community/family they've created, and it's great fun. You can tell they are a fantastic couple--they tease each other, laugh a lot, and are really in tune with each other.

If you have a chance, listen in! You'll laugh, cry, and think--sometimes all in one show.

Go, Ian!

Thanks for the report, angelgirl. :) I am going to try listening on the live stream - as soon as I can get my schedule around to such an early morning call out for Pacific Time...

Wouldn't it be great for such a wonderful - life affirming show, to be syndicated nationally? Let's listen in, and also ask our local stations to try to get the show on the air in our local areas.

Thanks the info everyone -- I miss hearing Ian, so I will check this out.

Ian, if you are reading this thread -- Hello and thank you for all the interesting C2C shows you hosted - I was always happy when you were on!

Anyone listened in to Ian and Margery Punnett on the live stream lately? Any of the shows archived for later listening? If not, maybe we can request a 30 day archive - or something.

Any ideas?

Ian as a Coast host on 11/26/01

Linnea, (and Ian),

Thanks for the Ian topic. He super charged the show as an easy listening host.

I talked to him once, but left out the kicker that I know now. Negatives are most always never valued. As sad as they are when brought to light.

I haven't listened live as my 12 hour shift shifting ends with sleeping while he's on.

Does anyone know if any of Ian's morning show are available for re-listen later in the day? Too bad if not. Missing out on a larger potential audience. Maybe the website has some info on this.

Doesn't look like they achieve the shows but do have streaming. It would be nice if he were on later in the day.
