More than a hundred drones put on a mesmerising light show over Lake Zurich as part of the city's triennial Züri Fäscht festival
One hundred and fifty drones lit up the night sky in the Swiss city of Zurich last night as the popular triennial Züri Fäscht festival got underway.
The three-day event is held around Lake Zurich and the Limmat River and this year's - the first since 2016 - was the first to feature the use of lit up drones to project an enormous 3D image of a bird into the night sky.
Footage showed the drones weaving between each other as they formed beautiful shapes before bystanders filmed a fantastic 30-minute fireworks display over the lake.
The drones complemented the usual array of musical performances, fairground rides, food and drink stands,
market stalls, and fireworks display.
