Right on Doka! After his time runs out and a new PM takes a good grip on the reigns. Canadians may borrow President Trump's campaign slogan to read "Make Canada Great Again!" :D Just think of the uproar if that happens!

We don't have "terms" as such in Canada. A PM has to call an election every 5 yrs but can stay in office for as long as the public wants he/she there. Pierre Trudeau, Justin's father, was PM for 11 years. McKenzie King was PM for 21 years. And thank god America has 8 year limits on President's now that you have dumpy at the helm.

Might be a good idea to educate yourself on Canadian politics before you open your mouth.

Trudeau Apologizes For Brownface

Canadian leader Justin Trudeau’s campaign was hit Wednesday by the publication of a yearbook photo showing him in brownface makeup at a 2001 costume party. The prime minister apologized and said “it was a dumb thing to do.”

Time magazine posted the photo, which it says was published in the yearbook from the West Point Grey Academy, a private school in British Columbia where Trudeau worked as a teacher before entering politics. It depicts the then 29-year-old Trudeau wearing a turban and robe, with dark makeup on his hands, face and neck.

Trudeau, who launched his reelection campaign exactly one week ago, said he should have known better.

Most every body knows that Justin has a bit of a "Costume Fetish" a couple years ago while in India, he went "Bat Crap" crazy, changing costumes 3-4 times a day, until the Indian Government made note of it. And somebody had to tone him down a bit. He also loves make-up, remember when his fake eyebrow got away from him? When ever Obami is around he preens, like the not so suttle "Queen" he is. He comes by it naturally I believe, Mummy, and Daddy where quite Bizarre in their behavior, ahead of the times, I think, now days thats is acceptable and prefered behavior.

Justin Trudeau Downplays Brown- and Blackface Costumes as ‘Makeup’

Leftist Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau repeatedly referred to his past use of brownface and blackface as “makeup” in an extended Q&A apology with reporters late Wednesday.

Trudeau held a press conference after an image surfaced of himself dated from 2001 dressed in what he described as an “Aladdin” costume, wearing skin paint that made him appear black and an oversized turban and grabbing a woman by the neck. Time magazine, which published the photo, revealed that Trudeau wore the politically incorrect outfit to an “Arabian Nights” party at a private school where he worked as a teacher. The photo was featured in the school’s yearbook, where students could see and potentially emulate his behavior.

Major Canadian Election Debate Called Off Due to Trudeau No-Show

25 Sep 2019

A major Canadian election debate on foreign policy that was set to take place in Toronto has been cancelled due to Prime Minister Justin Trudeau refusing to attend.

The Munk debate, which was originally scheduled for September 28th, was set to take place in Toronto, with the leaders of the three main opposition parties, the Conservatives, the leftist New Democrats (NDP), and the Green party, all agreeing to attend, CBC reports.

Rudyard Griffiths, who chairs the Munk Debates, expressed regret over the prime minister’s refusal to attend the debate saying: “the prime minister’s refusal to attend our debate has denied Canadians the only real opportunity they had this election to see his foreign policy record challenged in a substantive and sustained fashion.”
