I despise GW with a passion, but any effort to impeach is an exercise in futility.

It takes a majority of the House to Impeach, and 2/3 of the Senate to Remove. Both Houses of Congress are controlled by the Republicans who ran on Bush's shirttales. They control everything. Even if there were outrageous grounds for impeachment, such as proof positive that Bush arranged for the fixing of the voting machines, Congress would never act.

It's just reality. Best we can do is continue to investigate, get the truth out through blogs and friendly radio sources such as Air America, and work harder next time.

Well, Corvid - at least we will be dealing with something real. I believe the internet is real right now. The media and the govt live in shadows.

In the 60s and 70s a real grassroots movement was started in this country. Took the power brokers a while to deal with it. Most of it was co-opted. Enter- the internet. Sure, they will make their move on it.

How bout a couple of million in DC and thousands on the doorsteps of every Congressman office.

Everyone that I know and asked, they voted for Bush/Cheney... except my Son. ...and he wasn't upset when Kerry lost. I had several thoughts in mind when I voted - one being the selection of judges. Who is responsible for all the TVs, internet, gyms etc in the prisons? Someone interpreted our Constitution as "inhumane treatment" if prisoners weren't allowed these "luxuries." What else goes on in prison, - besides terrorist recruitment- I don't care to know.

work stoppage. stop contributing to their precious economy, then they will start to get their act together. Sure, we'll be out of money but at least we get our country back.
How about some National Call-Out-Sick days?
What about boycotting products from key allies (you cant with Israel, it's against the law).
