Stats Climbing
TABWEBMASTER it gives me great pleasure watching stats climb I know there is science in our wu but its a good feeling like a team effort to slowly climb in the ranks. We are gaining on The Knights who say what ever. We are about 4250 cobble stones away from passing. I beleive like you said in one of your posts a small % of seticlassic users will switch to Team Art Bell that will be fantastic cant wait.

I've been busy upgrading to all the latest optimized apps that are out there. The Harold Naparst ones have got my Athlon 64's screaming. I've got Tetsuji's optimized Boinc and Seti on Windows and Crunch3r's optimized Boinc and Seti on the Athlon XP with Linux.
With "enhanced Seti" looming on the horizon, I'm going to crunch as fast as I can for as long as I can. I think they said they wanted to introduce it before Classic ended, so there may only be a couple of weeks left for us to enjoy optimization.

It's what they are doing in Beta right now, here is a thread that discusses it and mentions the time increase-

We're actually International but I don't have any control over the team page...yet. I didn't have it with SETI@home Classic either. If you look at the info at the top of the stats page you'll see that "Angus" is listed as the team founder. I asked him once if I could have control and he said no.
Anyway, Overclockers.com is the top U.S. team. We're #12 and climbing in Recent Average Credit. We're #17 and climbing in Total Credit.
I have a feeling that around December 15th or 16th you'll see our numbers really start to grow. Other teams' numbers will grow from the same effect but we have more members than any other team. At least we had more members with Classic. I expect around 300 more members out of 500+ will do the switch once Berkeley shuts down Classic. 300 more members is outstanding and a lot of those are the top crunchers from Classic. Maybe they're tired of crunching, some of them, but I have a feeling that the loyalty will win out in their final decisions. Let's hope!:D

I added my studio audio/video editor Saturday. It sits about 12 hours a day, so it might as well do something.
I've got three Linux boxes, and a Win98 machine I could add on as well, but I've been too busy with stuff to do the installs.
We just need to get a few more people interested in the program so we can put a last minute push on.
Too bad Angus won't allow the transfer. Would be nice to have someone who is active in the roll.

I've been seeing a lot of this in the messages ...
12/12/2005 8:20:24 PM||Couldn't connect to hostname [setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu]
12/12/2005 8:20:26 PM|SETI@home|Scheduler request to http://setiboinc.ssl.berkeley.edu/sah_cgi/cgi failed with a return value of -106
12/12/2005 8:20:26 PM|SETI@home|No schedulers responded
Is anyone else getting these?
