Agreed - I loved the 60s and everything that went with it, although I loved the 70s pre-disco music. I think that once disco came along, things musically kinda went downhill from there.

But, politics, culture, society...... kinda difficult to choose. Each decade has its pluses and minuses.
There you go man, keep as cool as you can. Face piles and piles of trials with smiles. It riles them to believe that you perceive the web they weave. And keep on thinking free. (Moody Blues)

I've probably mentioned this before... but my greatest fear about everything being electronic? Our physical and paper trail will end during the disco era, and no one far into the future will ever know how talented and gifted we've become since disco.

I was torn between the 60's and early 80's. The 80's win. My kids were born in the 60's so that was a special time. But it was in the 80's that as a wiser person I was on my own and free as a bird. My kids were in their early teens and we were finally free to enjoy our lives. We had a lot of fun as a tight little unit and I enjoyed every minute. My Mother's curse that went something along the lines of her hoping my kids would turn out to be just like me didn't happen and for this I was truly grateful. :D

I had good kids, made good money, still had my youth, and music had evolved to pure magic. The older bands got better and better and the new bands just kept coming.
