What beer do you grab on a hot day?

I like Miller High life, tastes good and doesnt give me the craps in the morning. Cheers.

Beer and I had a falling out back in 1977. I've never forgiven beer for what he did, and subsequently I just drink water on a hot day.

However there are time when I'll have a rum & coke. Something I learned from American Airlines pilots before a cross country flight. Takes the edge off the day.

I'm not a beer drinker. Perhaps I'll have one at a BBQ or a picnic, but we don't keep it in the house. When we DO have one, it's Negra Modelo.

We keep Miller Lite - the best hops on the planet

Any and all Sam Adams - love the variety 12 packs

Heineken

However, I generally drink Margaritas or drink Cuervo Gold shots - sipped slowly :pinkjump:

My downfall was Leinenkugel beer, which as I alluded to, kicked my ass, took my name, dashed me to the floor, and made me forget where I was, who I was with, and what I had done.

Since then, the smell of beer brings back memories I wish I could flush from history.

Never had "Negra Modelo". Looks tasty though. Brewed in Mexico city.

Leinys turned on you?? hehe. I love Honey Weiss, one of my favorite drinking beers. I never cared much for regular Leinys though, only had it a few times.

I'm not much of a drinker but, if I'm buying it, it's usually Shiner Bock. I prefer a good dark beer. And the darker the better. Best dark beer i ever had was a German import. It was so darn good (and so long ago) I can't remember the name. :)

Anyone try this "400 lb Monkey" beer? It is an English style India Pale Ale. I have about 8 of these and I cant give them away. It is awful.

In the summer I definitely go for Corona with limes... so good after working in the yard. I like me some Kilkenny, Guiness, Harp's.

I live in a big micro-brewery area, so there are many amazing beers around, one of the best breweries is Dieu du Ciel.

I was drinking Coronas the other evening, went down good. We have micro breweries here also but I dont find myself seeking them out often. May have to change that.
