Picture of the hills by Tehachapi, CA, just east of Bakersfield. A truly great year. The flowers have NEVER been this beautiful. Photographer Frank Kee. (submitted by Linda Babb)

That looks like there was a mid- collision of two plane-loads of bright paints!

That is so pretty.... I nice place for turtles to play.
Due to current economic conditions the light at the end of the tunnel has been turned off.

Even before I saw the caption, I knew where that had to be from. I've been there (well not specifically on that slope, lol) and it's an amazing experience.

I have business in Tehachapi and have never hit the season right to view something as beautiul as that.

That only happens in years of heavy rain. I have taken shots of the Temblor range which look nearly identical. In fact I personally think it probable that is a shot in the Temblor Range, rather than Tehachapi. Who knows... we need the exif data.

Not that it matters, it's still a nice photo.
