LOL Linnea! I had the same aversion! I'm also averse to unnecessary pain. ;) I LOVE earrings, though. I just buy my own clips, and look for earrings I can take off the wire (or cut the wire and form into a loop) and put onto a clip. You can buy the findings (clips) cheaply enough (I've found lots of them on eBay) in all sorts of different metal finishes, so I just keep the clips on hand and transform the earrings I buy into something I can wear. I am especially fond of big dangly ones -- anything else just gets lost in my hair and can't be seen anyhow. So, I've never felt I really lost out on anything by not piercing.

Video games? For what significance is that?

Text messages? What are those?

Facebook, MySpace? Wh...why? I have the Fantastic Forum.

Tattoos? To quote Paris Hilton: eeewwwwwww.

Piercings? You mean two-and-a-half-earlobes wasn't enough?

No land-line? Are you insane?

Phew. You got it wrong, Pew poll. This was skewed. I am safely a late-to-the-party-baby-boomer.

Now we just have to pry out of Linda why her score is so high. You wild woman, you.......:D

I got a 21.

According to the chart, I'm in the mid-to-late baby boomer class.. which, in fact, I am...

So, it looks like I'm right where I should be in keeping up with staying behind the times!

I got a 14... probably because of facebook and the iPhone.

BTW, when the electricity goes out, unless you have one of the old, cord phones, you can't call out to let the DWP know your electricity's out... Our iPhones are okay with Wifi, but when the power is off, s is the Wifi. I'm PROUD we still have a land line in three rooms!
