This morning, 7:07a, my better-half's mother passed away after a 14 year battle with Alzheimer's.

We were called over to the care facility at about 8p last night by the head nurse. Her breathing was shallow and a very high pulse. About 9p she woke up and seemed to recognize who was there, first time in about 6 years. 10p she was breathing better and seemed to go back to sleep.

7:07a, she slipped away.

I'll be busy for a few days taking care of the aftermath and holding people together.

Behave yourselves, hold on to someone you care for.. and be strong.

I am so sorry to read about the loss of your wife's mother. Losing a parent is tough no matter what your age. Hold your wife tight and take good care of her and yourself. You both will be in my prayers.

I feel for those that loved her. We all know the empty feeling the death of a loved one creates.

I rejoice in the end of suffering and Her renewing.
