THIS LAND IS YOUR LAND
Chorus:
This land is your land, this land is my land
From California, to the New York Island
From the redwood forest, to the gulf stream waters
This land was made for you and me
As I was walking a ribbon of highway
I saw above me an endless skyway
I saw below me a golden valley
This land was made for you and me
Chorus
I've roamed and rambled and I've followed my footsteps
To the sparkling sands of her diamond deserts
And all around me a voice was sounding
This land was made for you and me
Chorus
The sun comes shining as I was strolling
The wheat fields waving and the dust clouds rolling
The fog was lifting a voice come chanting
This land was made for you and me
Chorus
As I was walkin' - I saw a sign there
And that sign said - no tress passin'
But on the other side .... it didn't say nothin!
Now that side was made for you and me!
Chorus
In the squares of the city - In the shadow of the steeple
Near the relief office - I see my people
And some are grumblin' and some are wonderin'
If this land's still made for you and me.

Freedom and peace of mind and confidence in raising children..... for Everyone... Everywhere.
We can do no greater need.
Still with a bit of non-alcholic hangover from watching the "Live 8" concerts yesterday.
Gads, if I had a tear in my eye just watching it on tv (Pink Floyd)..... I would have been a pool of jelly at Hyde Park.
I think that I may stone myself back to the bomb age.

While the storm clouds gather far across the sea,
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,
Let us all be grateful for a land so fair,
As we raise our voices in a solemn prayer:
God Bless America.
Land that I love
Stand beside her, and guide her
Thru the night with a light from above.
From the mountains, to the prairies ,
To the oceans, white with foam
God bless America
My home sweet home.
God Bless America,
Land that I love
Stand beside her,
And guide her,
Through the night
With the light from above,
From the mountains,
To the prairies,
To the ocean,
White with foam,
God bless America,
My home sweet home.
God bless America,
My home sweet home.
Let us swear allegiance to a land that's free,

With our resolve, our blood, our sweat and our tears.... we will yet make these beautiful words true.
It's gonna take some doin'.

Blessed Anniversary to all who call themselves citizens of the US of A. To the rest of my fellow terrans may we one day be a land without borders and lack the need to fight and kill one another. God bless America and the entire air bubble that resides in this sea of infinite cosmos.
