Recently celebrated my 17th anniversary of moving to Alaska. On February 8, 1990, I made my final exit from New Jersey. Arrived in Alaska with one suitcase of clothing, a down sleeping bag and $500 in my pocket. Seventeen years later life could not be better. To say the long, dark winters are difficult to deal with is an understatement. On that note, here is the song that expresses how I feel today:
