Blue/Green Goo in Ohio

Has anyone in Northwest Ohio, Northeast Indiana or Southeast Michigan seen any globs of blue goo lying around? I came across a pile of it while out hiking this Fall. Looked like animal droppings at first then I noticed it was a blue/green gel. Didn't step in it and didn't think much of it till later that week. At the time I was much more interested in the beautiful Fall colors.
