Posted on Google Video is footage of a round black object moving across the surface of the moon. According to the poster, Italian astronomers are said to have spotted and tracked the UFO. Explanations on the page's comments section include space junk, satellite, alien vehicle and hoax.

Just this evening, I watched some the videos connected with Doctor Steven Grier's Disclosure Project, and I was profoundly disturbed to hear several retired military people state, quite calmly, that there are alien bases on the far side of the Moon, bases from which many UFOs that appear on our planet depart.
Why then are the Russians and the Chinese so hot to go to the Moon? Do they not know what these people know? Or do they think that they can force the alien beings on the Moon to accept their presence? I really don't know...

People have been saying that some of the various moon pictures showed ufos, and bases for years.
I think it is safe to say that only a few people realy believe that alien life is intelligent, and around us enough to realy show up on our instruments.
The people whom believe in the theory of plentifull aliens are educated types.
The countries that are sending probes to the moon, or perhaps now have sent one, think, or seem to think by the actions that they are taking that they will not trigger an alien response, which is brazen to me.
Space exploration is and has always been a cavalier activity with the assumption that outer space is simply ours for the taking.
There does not seem to be an overt message that we can discern that is saying : "Stop going in to our space now!" - unless you count the failed Mars and Venus probes as warnings, however: we seem to assess that they were our errors, and may even have come to the conclusion as such. What else would you call errors that have caused the failures.
There are some real mysteries behind the errors. The rovers landed and one had years of data that was clogging the memory and had to be erased. It turned out that the rovers did in fact last years, when we thought they would last only days. How do you explain the time traveling rovers?
Anyway in my case: what advice would I need to write, continue to write, or change, or take to stop my scientific paper? It wouldn't effect my research or would it? What do we, or I do about it?

Hard question DrNewell.........you have to write what you think is true, not an easy task when there is no solid proof. I hope you are not considering giving up on this paper. If your research is good you will come to the right conclusions, isn't much of science theoretical?

I am not writing a scientific paper on ufos.
I am writing a paper on the satelite telescopic data on one of the bandwidths of high energy photons.
Actualy there is proof for ufos existing.
Even for people that frequently write on this topic you still say that there is no proof for ufos.
Who is it that is saying that there is no proof for ufos, and please list your thoughts and ideas because I would realy like to see them listed in an organized manner.
I think that the current ufo video was taken down for expense reasons. The website traffic even for a small hit can go over $5000.00 in a hurry. I have a band website and when small bumps go over it for unknown reasons - heaven forbid if I ever was mentioned on the air - the bandwidth simply just swamps the website. When websites are mentioned on Coast-To-Coast it must be an insane amount of traffic. It costs money even to be a small celebrity for a website.

I am not an astronomer or a photograpgher, so here is my question: With advances in cameras & technology, isn't it just a matter of time before any amatuer astronomer can view the moon and see for themselves whether or not there are structures?

There are many amatuer astronomers who have viewed structures on the moon, they get debunked or no one pays attention.
