Today is Wednesday January 2, the second day of 2019. There are 363 days left in the year.
One of today's highlights in history: 1/2/2000
Retired Admiral Elmo R. Zumwalt, Jr, known early in his career for modernizing the Navy and later for ordering the spraying of Agent Orange in Vietnam, died in Durham, N.C. at age 79.
We can laugh at his cartoonish-like first name but we have no smiles for what he did! Even Monsanto should have been wiser to reject that order.

I had a co-worker at Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha - he was a Marine in 'Nam. Dosed with Agent Orange. When he returned home and years later started a family, his son was born with every birth defect known to Man. Heartbreaking. Mark (my friend) said that he had to keep his weight up to prevent the chemical form metabolizing........... But that started a whole host of other health issues.

kbot, Your heart felt lines about your Marine vet's son and his own chronic US government induced symptoms are a sad recounting to read. Clear thinking in war times is rare by those in power on every continent!
Agent Orange was the main topic noted inside 2 pages here too! You may remember seeing it in the OP.
In 2008 while fueling the big rig in Vincennes, IN. My CB radio tuned to Ch 19 had two truckers talking about that undeclared war and the partial defoaliation of the forests.
When one of them was a youngster spending the night with a classmate. He awoke and headed to their kitchen for a glass of water. His friends veteran dad was up staring out the window.
That family endured his PTSD daily besides the concern he'd been under the emerald green forest canopy
when the spray planes flew overheard!
Then their radios got too far away to hear more sad details.

Wednesday news from the deep state's favorite 3 letter agency, dba the EPA, exonerated Monsanto's glyphosate as a potential cause of non-Hodgekins lymphoma.
We suspected a rescue to eventually arrive and just like magic it finally was news.
Too many US legislators making 174$K per year are actually worth multi millions. Just like Sen. 'Freckles' Bloomenthal who likely never held down a real job or a job in a war! Makes one wonder about all the re$t who want to $ee The Donald's taxe$ but won't hand over their$!

Food Brands Owned by Monsanto - Taken from Twitter tonight......
Germany's Bayer has bought the whirl wind it seems.
Errors in word choice exists here and my choice is some maybe T and some maybe F. Use your own judgement since there is no substantial proof of ownership by Monsanto of all of these major food brand names. Mostly it implies guilty by association which is very probable.

AT this near wheat harvest time the gold and nearing gold fields show tall spray rig tracks spread out all across most fields. They are not trying to kill army worms!
"Glyphosate is sprayed on oats ( & wheat!) to dry out the crop, making it easier to harvest, the EWG said. The group said the practice increases the chances the chemical will end up in children's cereal. "

The PC crowd in the Virginia hometown of President Thomas Jefferson just replaced his annual holiday with another one with a name I cannot remember!
It's the times for strange changes but his times will always be remembered for his Declaration of Independence!

While tuned into the "Kelly, KY UFO/ET Attack!" with Connie Willis and Geraldine Sutton. At the 3 AM break our local station began playing area related ads. One ad was about Kentucky farmer's signing up to donate money to several state organizations helping families in need during Covid 19's never ending virus.
In closing, that ad mentioned this. "The donations come from Monsanto, a philanthropic arm of Bayer"
Tune in folks Connie and Geraldine have one more hour to go.........!
