Princess Diana Pre-cognition

Post by Punnetts_Friend » 06-09-2002 06:29 PM

On November 26, 2001, I told Ian Punnett on C2C AM that Pink Floyd's "On the Turning Away" and The Wallflower's "One Headlight" have a connection like no two songs in history. From my prior e-mails the producers, and Ian said it was a prophecy that could be related to a description of the end of Lady Diana Spencer's life. This rivals other mysteries common to this World. It's unexplainable how millions of us heard this popular music, and not one letter or statement of warning was generated on her behalf. This music could have been heroic. Before she died, I didn't see it, did you?. Please reply by the forum or by e-mail to this question. One lady that I told said her daughter said " That sounds like Diana." I told Ian, "I believe a multitude of fans said the same thing, but I wondered if they knew how close to a prophecy it was". I'm not interpreting anything because of copywrite infringement, and Fantastic Forum guidelines.
Ian's guest that night talked about water monkeys.
("On the Turning Away" holds 15 coincidental verses. "One Headlight" has 29 coincidental verses)CORRECTION TO TOPIC It should be; Princess Diana/Unusual coincidence. This wasn't pre-anything. I couldn't change the header. To those who do not believe in coincidences, and say everything is done for a reason can you explain this?

The internet versions' lyrics have inaccuracies. Please listen to the songs for yourself.

In the song "Heroes,"(written by David Bowie in 1977) The Wallflowers repeatedly say "we can be heroes for just one day", and that day was August 31, 1997.

I could'nt believe The Wallflowers's manager hadn't heard this by October of '97. His personal assistant said "No!"when asked, and after 30 more seconds she hung up on me. The next day she did'nt hang up on my wife. They have sold over 6 million albums. On a U.S. concert tour now; they sing both songs.
"V" for Victory over terrorisim!

Well, Diana's life story is one of universal tragic-story qualities, like Princess Grace and Marilyn Monroe and What's that one opera, Daido and Aeneas?

Please listen to both songs and see if you can find the coincidences that we spoke of.
Tragic stories about famous people are something we have to live with.

Never heard of that one opera, Daido and Aeneas.

I completely agree with Punnetts Friend. I listened to the songs mentioned and see the similarities and foresight. WOW!Too bad no one noticed it before now and did something about it!

Linnea, I really appreciate the links to the songs. I was planning to do that but never got around to it. Thanks again! Image Image

LisaA,
Yes!! That's true! Purcell's "Dido and Aeneas" and also Claudio Monteverdi's L'Incoronazione di Poppea... in fact I just listened to it all again last week.

Queen Liz II is like the shrieking Nero in L'Incoronazione stripping Princess Di of her title and exiling her (from this world?)but in the end, forced to pay tribute just the same:
<font face="Verdana, Arial" size="2">
"Vivi, ma va ne' più remoti lidi
Di titoli spogliato, e di fortune,(...)
Vivi alla fama della mia clemenza,
Vivi alle glorie della tua fortezza,
E sia del sesso tuo nel secol nostro
La tua costanza un adorabil' mostro."
</font>
Diana, we salute you!

Anyway, although he was the first real composer of Opera, old Claudio M is still probably the most moving.

Dear Mercury,

Check out Fox news tonight, the "O'Riley Factor". Years from now there will be interest in Lady Diana Spencer. I've had English tabloid writers tell me the subject doesn't interest the English people. I hope LisaA understands Italian. I can barely understand pop rock lyrics, even with the old Louie-Louie you had to be good to get that one!! And the words they say which we won't understand! Whew!!! 1986...1996!!!!
Thanks again Mercury.

Punnetts_Friend,
I tend to agree with you that there will be interest in Di for many years to come. She was more than just some "pop star" type figure...yes, she was complex, but she was the real deal. And she remains a sorely-missed force for good.

BEING AN OLD HARLEY RIDER,I WAS WONDERING IF THE BONE HEADLIGHT THAT THE SONG REFERED TO MIGHT HAVE BEEN A MOTORCYCLE.WHAT DO YOU THINK?

Dear Tinylee,

We can drive it home "with" one headlight could mean one trailing motorcycle in a rearview mirror. If you can believe a reflected image is temporary, but still "with" your driven vehicle. Drive was one of the 29 coincidences. Tiny, thanks for your reply! (the Wallflowers song won two Grammy awards in Feb 98.... I nearly turned a flip!)

Mercury&Tiny Oh! Now that I've mentioned Louie- Louie a song that was one of the most miss-understood and un-intellageable of all time. I've returned from a company picnic at the nations oldest theme park where I heard LL comming from a fake rock. Thirty years ago a bass guitar player/radio station engineer told me the words. I'm glad our Courier's roving reporter formerly from W.Va. (story 2 yrs old) found LL to be a "clean and innocent" song after extensive investigation. He even interviewed a Kingsmen band member who verified it was a Jamaican island party song written in 1955. Wrong! The band was tippy and let it all hang out! WAKE UP! AMERICA! Mercury and Tiny.... you can find "bone" in LL. The internet won't have the real "dirty" words just alot of porn sites for kids that may have attended the picnic,and heard LL comming from a rock! To me from Sept 7/97 on I've found my topic extremely intresting. In 20 yrs. of firefighting, and experiencing many DWI wrecks I never thought I'd be on the www typing about one of the Worlds most tragic DWI's. Potentialy heroric songs?... Too late the heroes? ... You bet! There is no other way to look at it; Jakob Dylan, Bob's son, wrote the words "THEY" (The Wallflowers)say which we won't understand( 3rd line in Floyd's British ballad).... and we "all" did a good job of that!! If terror raises it's ugly brain dead head, I hope we can make the connection........ Mr. Obvious! ( A trucker friend of mine says that on the CB radio, starting with I hope)

"V" for Victory !

This is so strange and so tragic! It is amazing how many messages there are in music, and how those messages are sometimes not truly understood, until it is too late.
