URGENT - WEATHER MESSAGE
NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE LAS VEGAS NV
1157 PM PDT TUE APR 16 2002

WESTERN CLARK AND SOUTHERN NYE COUNTY-

...A WIND ADVISORY IS IN EFFECT FOR THE REST OF TONIGHT AND
WEDNESDAY...

SOUTH WINDS HAVE INCREASED ACROSS SOUTHERN NYE COUNTY AND WILL
CONTINUE THROUGH THE DAY WEDNESDAY. AS OF 1145 PM...THE DESERT ROCK
AIRPORT NEAR MERCURY HAD RECORDED WIND GUSTS UP TO 55 MPH.
THE STRONG WINDS HAVE BEEN LOCALIZED SO FAR...BUT WILL BECOME MORE
WIDESPREAD TOWARD DAYBREAK. SUSTAINED WINDS OF 25 TO 35 MPH CAN BE
EXPECTED WITH GUSTS TO 55 MPH. THIS WILL PRODUCE AREAS OF REDUCED
VISIBILITY IN BLOWING DUST AND SAND.

If Pahrump gets hit hard again today, as I think it might, I propose that we call up the station and ask Art or Ramona what we can do to help and then follow up on it.

Peace,

Captain Kundalini

They are really getting hit with the high winds... Maybe we need to do one of those 'thought' blasts...
