Huge Block of Ice Falls From the Sky!

I heard about this a week and a half ago, in a blip on the 5PM local news. I heard then, the event happened TWO WEEKS before local news reported it.

These ocurrences are usually attributed to 'stuff' falling out of airplanes. Wonder if that is really the case. Any follow up there on this story?

I've learned long ago that there are many tiny comets out there falling to earth everyday, looks like this one was acually large enough to survive its journey through the atmosphere.
Thats also one very small reason the ocean levels are riseing, we're picking up more water from space all the time.

Wonder what else, besides water, we are picking up from these comets!? Did you hear Art talk about the weird virus that is now growing in the ocean - in, what, indonesia? - that may have come in with Mir Space Station?!?

I have not heard any further news about the block of ice, and did not know about the threat to Indonesia's waters, but it does not surprise me, because Mir was full of some type of fungus while it was inhabited, and I doubt lack of humans on board would have adversely affected the fungi.
