Stargates
Anyone know whatever happened to that theory about the stargate supposedly residing in Iraq? Is there evidence of one during the Egyptian Dynasty? Any help is appreciated. Dont be too hard on me, I'm Canadian?
Phoenix, I too am very interested in that. Just as one can xerox from an original through each subsequent copy, and come up with, in time, a surely different looking critter, stories do to, especially where vehement sentimentalism, unbridled imagination, and relentless compulsion and aggrevation perpetuate from generation to generation through the centuries, we may find some hilarious discombobulations with a sobre mind, yet cause much harm with our inaccuracies.
A thousand years from now, a child asks 'what's a coyboy?' An etherial encyclopaedic dictionary pops up a hologram demonstrating a NYC cop in winter coat atop a horse in Central Park derived from a photo taken in 2020, and refers to the horse as 'the last of the dinosaurs, before being bred out of existance due to irrelevance for a properly consuming nuclear family.'
Anthropoligists from another planet or era, 5,000 years from now, visit earth, study its communication vehicles, and finally translate some newspapers, finding a section from the ancient period, marked 1989 that gets translated, 'almost': "Earth Shakes as Giants Rumble to Capture the World, Seriously!", referring to the cross-town World Series Baseball game between the SF Giants and the Oakland As.
We may be suffering from the same misinformaiton about the 'gateway', though it would be enlightening if it's true. We've already discovered such gateways in the human body, all living bodies, and will learn soon if we haven't already, even animimate objects and machines, have vital aires, humors, vaiyues, or meridians, whicheever you want to call them.
I think it may have been Michio Kaku who referred to gravitional or dark-matter triangulation that may drive vehicles far faster than the speed of light, explaining how our relatives from other planets get here so comfortably and quite at peace, as they seem to be. That may be a method that does or doesn't need a portal to catapult it into new paradigms.
Can you imagine if such a thing is turned into a tourist attraction, after the NeoCons have raped it for all it's worth, a MickeyWorld destination *LoL*, or a criminal reassignment portal? I can think of some world misleaders we need to flush into the cosmic toxic waste disposal and reclaimation center.

Intersteller Travel Via Negative Potential Wormholes (Tim Harwood (c) 2001) - Many people outside the immediate interest of Sci-Fi, are aware of a highly successful tv series called Stargate SG1, in which a small elite team explore the galaxy through a network of artificial wormholes called 'stargates.' The inspiration behind this web page is to provide credible scientific proposals for a real world SG-1 type device. Work on this subject has been previously undertaken, notably by Professor Kip Thorne who has derived a fascinating solution for worm hole physics. The one problem in building such wormholes, is that in order to hold the wormhole throat open, there has to be a negative energy density inside. In light of my personal experimental researches and production of negative potential via field depletion, this stumbling block is now removed, and artificial wormhole proposals can be studied from a new serious and practical experimental perspective.

Each day now we move closer to designing the pipeline (or lifeline) that will take humanity into the galaxy. We are 50 years (or less given a twist of fate) away from opening the throat of a stargate or wormhole large enough for the first human to enter. Next time you find yourself wondering why we're so excited about re-engineering the human body think about stargates.
