Graeco-Romans in Southern Illinois?

A couple of days ago I listened to Whitley Strieber's interview with Frank Joseph, and I was amazed at what I heard. As soon as the interview was over, I flew into action and tried to find out everything that I could learn about the Mauretanian revolt against the Emperor Caligula in 40 CE. I do not know if descendents of Cleopatra and Marc Antony made it to the Ohio River, but there is so much tantalizing circumstantial evidence that I for one cannot dismiss the possibility out of hand. The story may not be true, but if it is not, then it should have been!

The whole subject of pre-Columbian contacts with the New World fascinates me! Each particular case can be dismissed, but the weight of evidence is so strong that the existence of America was as "top-secret" in the Graeco-Roman world as the existence of alien races is in our own...

Those of you who heard the interview, what did you think of it?
