Irs - sorry no quicker answer to your post. Yes, this is really a seti team. Small, quiet - but none the less crunching WUs. Wonder what projects we may do next? When the seti @home changes focus.

P.S. Would any of you guys...oh, man, I'm really going out on a limb here...care to share your thoughts on the 2001 Chilbolton crop formations? Or even that 2002 binary code thing (even I think that one was a hoax, and I'm a crop-circle nut)? Though I know you'll debunk it, I'm really interested in your informed opinions! Thanks.

So sorry, Irs. I have been so happily busy with so many things lately - time not enough. You are completely right! We FF Seti Crunchers have not been encouraging each other, or posting up here (or some not even crunching anymore - moi) Don't know why really. Maybe the seti @home project is winding down. There will be other crunching opportunities.

OK - I'm crunching again. Used to do it, then didn't. Don't know why really. Never the less, am doing so as I'm posting. Joined the team, and have turned in a dramatic 1 unit completed in 12 hrs. 48 mins. - Presently about 35% into unit 2.

Anyone here alive?

I don't know either lrs. I just started doing this again after a couple of years of being too lazy or uninterested. I'm not sure which it was. I just joined and started over night before last. I'm trying to find out myself what's happening here.

That's not a forceful gesture, just an idea. I love the hospitality here at FF but their SETI@home team just doesn't have any gusto.

I promise you Team Art Bell is powerful and I'm forever trying to think of new ways to get members and services to offer members and I have a LOT of help.

So...it's up to you. I wouldn't be too excited belonging to any other team.

No offense to FFSetiTeam!! Please, don't take offense. I only push my team because I'm proud of it and all the changes we've made to our site in the past year.

Doug, we may have to go with TAB (and I thank him/her for the invitation). I know Linnea is actively posting on another thread, caught up as we all are in today's tragedy, but in a month's time (though we will never forget), we might end up right back where we started with this team.
