Hey!
Glad to see the topic back. I'm still in there... and I'll hang around for at least a thousand WU's. Forever if the group stays active, a thousand regardless. That's become my deal.
Sometimes I don't know why I do this... but I must like it, because I keep doing it. The combination of possibly findign something exciting added to the satisfaction of having my computer doing SOMETHING while I''m not, I guess.
Anyway, it's a gas, and I'm aboard for the duration. Seti has driven me to tweak more umph out of my computer than anything else, now I think of it. Certainly more than (ick) work has. I dunno... maybe I need a new game or something... or a life.

Naaaaaaa.

CaptK, you're not showing up on the team yet..e-mail me if I can be of assistance. I found you and it shows that you are crunching and have completed 6 WU's since Nove 20th and turned one in yesterday, but you are not on any team yet. Are you using screensaver or commandline version?

Megman, the peltier was a gift. A friend of mine upgraded a clients PC, then as a result of this, he swapped out his motherboard, processor, cooling, etc.as an upgrade for himself.
I then got his old motherboard, etc. including the peltier, and I built the PC I'm using, which was an upgrade for me. Thats how poor geeks have to do it. Reuse and recycle.

Hey Daboodaddy, that's the way to do it. I scraped my peltier out of one of those plug in coolers. Pick the unit up at a parts recycler. Best way to go.

I saw the unknown person in slot #14 yesterday....they are gone now. Had 200+ WUs too! Don't know what happened to CaptK...he is not on the team roster. Maybe something went awry with his transporter! I directed a post to him a few days ago....shall we send out a search party?

I will get some kudos up tomorrow
