Well, maybe we're not so good...of our 24 listed members, 11 are inactive, so we really have 13 participating members. I know some of the 11 have good reasons...maybe all 11, but it is really kind of pitiful.

We need to get busy and recruit new members.

I think I will take a break too. My heart just isn't in Seti@home anymore...may look into some other shared computing program.

Long lost Johnny A. is still around, although more as a lurker these days. Hope everyone is OK and happy. Should be turning in a WU or two in the coming days.

I'm back.

Still working the kinks out. Spent the weekend in computer hell. Recruited 2KSS he is running his slow machine at home now. His fast machine at home is dual pentium 3's @1Ghz+ He is also the network admin where I work. He crunched a couple of units on the main server this weekend around 5 hours each on our dual 500Mhz Xenon server. He has around 50 networked pc's at his disposal hahaha (don't count on it)

Rob Walter has added machine #11 to his arsenal.

Wxfreak, hi..I welcomed 2KSS on the old board..didn't know who brought him aboard. Thanks.

I have looked at United Devices and others, but see nothing that interests me, so I guess I will KOC. I got a new computer..about 8 hrs per WU, but still averages out to 10 something with old slower units in the mix. I didn't want to start over just for the sake of showing a better crunch time. Thought about it tho'

I'm just really in a funk...haven't even sneaked a peek at any of the gifts under the tree...that is reallllly not me..I am expert at re-wrapping gifts undetected. I have to work on my attitude, I guess.

Anyway, I do wish all of you a joyous
holiday. I hope the new year brings us all health, happiness, prosperity, and most of all ...peace.

Just relax, focus and don't worry about a thing. You have needed some time out. There seems to be many Pirates in the doldrums (read holiday funk) just now. Me too. Things will get better by and by...

A lot of the FFST crunchers are moving up real fast! Thanks for the dedication - FFST! I need to set up a new pc to get crunching again! OR - get better back up for my pc files. Wonder what I could get on my Pentium III - 166. Probably not much - eh? I need to get that pc back from a friend I loaned it to. Least ways it would be better than nuttin...

It takes me an avg. of 56 hours on a P133. You'd probably be in the 50 hour range or a little less. Every little bit helps though.

Just an FYI, with the addition of another Celery, I turned in a total of 9 WU's today, which is a new personal best.
