Cherry - usually they'll have one that gives a ten minute count. Ham's are required to "ID" their station every ten minutes to comply with current FCC rules. Also, they like to have world times available when to trying to "work" a foreign countries. Art's clock is more designed for broadcast use where network joins require split second timing and visual cuing.

Have had this pix for awhile but can't remember whether it came from the web cam or web site. Think you'll get a kick out of it though.

Okay so we know that Art has a new clock that he loves. He got it in France (Paris) I think. But..................what is 10:38 about especially when his webcam time states 11:01?

Could it possibly mean that Art's webcam is a few minutes off?

Or that he has to capture the pic and then add his timestamp and any text he wants, resize it if necessary (not usually) and then place it in his rv1.htm page;)

It's a photo (with the cover removed) of an antenna tuner for his (I suspect) Ham radios.
