What was your favourite show?

Thanks Metisse - good song but I think that's the one he started playing after he met Airyn?
This was during his marriage to Ramona (I think) and now it is driving me CRAZY - yu know when you can sort of get the essence of the song in your mind and you try to sing it and then it goes away????
Oh dear I am falling apart - it was a female group - not current and from England I believe???
Dale sent a great list and I went thru it - lots of memories for sure.

Since we 'jacked Dude's thread I could at least give an answer to his query.. I don't have any favorite show, per say That's why I didn't post one. Mel's Hole show 1 was good. Area 51 guests were always great. I guess my favorite show was always his next one. Until he jumped the shark, literally, by moving to The Philippines. His interests are now kids, kats and kisses. . Me, I'm all but done with those. Been there, done that.

Thanks Dale - no luck. I would email Art and ask him but I am not on his FB list. Also he probably has better things to do - think??????
You would probably have to narrow it down a little better, even for him. There's a lot of songs with that phrase. Google helped me there..but I saw nothing.
You say you are fairly sure about a UK artist - why? Accent or? If you are from there, I see, but otherwise, I hardly distinguish most UK and US talent anymore.
- Female UK Artist?
- May contain, "why, oh, why"

The sound: lots of drum, guitar, horns or cowbell? Was it a top 40-ish, country, R&R... Things like this.

I remember Art saying "female band of the 70's or 80's from England.
Knowing Art and his fetishes for some things I bet he would remember - he said he could not get this song out of his mind and kept playing it over and over.
The sound - let me think on how to describe...................

I'd have a hard time picking just one but I'll try. I remember the one where he had three hackers on talking about how they could shut down the whole Internet in a matter of hours. Forgot all their names, two were Shipley and Garthe I think. But I also loved the Mel's Hole show where he played that song, "King of the Hole" sung to the tune of "King of the Road". I wish I could find that song...
