I do hope this site stays up..

however if hosting were to become a problem, I know this site does not use that much in the way of bandwidth and posts, to the extent that it would need to be on a dedicated server.

I believe that coastzone has no good intentions in regards to this forum, other then trying to make some cash off it.

Unbelievable... It doesn't matter anyway. I turned it down as I had good intentions and found I was not welcomed. A person who had bad intentions wouldn't have done that. Even though Linnea knew I was here since 2009. I came in with her blessing and forgiveness of the past. That was just the way she was.

If I am the bad guy some make me out to be, I would have bought it in spite the negativity. I didn't. That says enough about my intent.

The FF sold and I wish "Fan" the best. Perhaps in time the FF will become up to date in terms of the latest forum software, whether it is IPB or XenForo.

vBulletin is long dead now.

RUMike has no idea what he is talking about. I specifically stated that I had heard rumors on a coast Facebook forum. That part was true.

I also know that $1,000 was RC's original asking price for me as well. I have documentation to prove it. Along with voice mail messages.

Let us forget the past and rejoice for the future. Long live the FF and Linnea's memory.

seems Art is only posting now over at the other FF site. He posted a new update a couple days ago there saying his condo wouldn't approve his ham radio antenna so he is now looking into moving to a house instead out there in the Philippines.

In reality there isn't. This is The one and only Fantastic Forum. I hope Art doesn't pay favoritism over a certain group of individuals versus the site that supported him for years.

Really? Is that why I don't see Shirley posting anything? Why would they do that? Seems to me like it is a bit sad for Linnea's memory. She fought many wars to keep this ship afloat. jmho

FYI, there was some discussion by some of the group that started FF2 a few weeks ago in this thread and why they did so. Somebody posted a link to the site there:

All the FF moderators left early this month and are now running FF2 and claim they are the only true legacy FF now, they got many to join them including Art Bell and George Noory. Shirleypal runs their own nightly discussion radio room every night during the live C2C show too. George Noory has even been plugging FF2 (with no mention of the original FF) the past few Friday nights.

The current FF moderator list still has only members who claim they won't return here. Its probably past time now to assign some active members here as new replacement moderators since some areas of the forum only moderators can start a new thread. Without active moderators no new ORR threads can even be started here right now.

Thanks turtle! Nice to see you also. And thanks Jim for the info. This is such a sad situation. I don't understand, but then again lots of things happened aboard this ship I didn't understand. At times I have gone years without posting sometimes because of newbies saying terrible things I just couldn't handle, and also just because I was busy and only had time to read posts. But it always felt like "home", I always came back.
