Art Bell Hosting Friday 02-19-2010-Guest TBA
Art will be hosting this Friday........great news, guest TBA.
I am so happy! I have sure missed my nights with AB. Hopefully this will be an ongoing schedule...couple times a month works for me compared to what is currently available at C2C.

This is bizarre!. I posted it under the other section, but this is what is on the website regarding Art hosting:
Hosted by Art Bell
Guest(s):
Friday February 19, 2010
George Noory hosts Open Lines, with first hour guest(s), TBA.
Right now it looks like a power struggle as to who is going to be on Friday nite. I like both, so I am neutral, although it is a special listening enjoyment to hear Art. He brought me into the Coast listener fold.

Yah, saw that too, Shirley. Too bad! Actually, with C2C beginning to tank - losing the WABC and KABC venues on both coasts - there might soon be no platform for Art Bell to guest host from.
Maybe the 'Art Bell Genre' itself is dying out - much like the topics here. At least the old 'Art Bell topics'.
Art Bell himself - is very compelling. Wonder what Art will do - if anything - in radio, if C2C goes down?

The up's and downs of the show
Hi all,
I hadn't been listening to the show much for a while, so I am curious what, if anything, was the cause for the statement about C2C going off?
I know that over the 15+ years that I've listened there have been many times when rumors started that C2C might go off, and it has only grown.
I've found that my interest in the show, drama and topics would also go in streaks. I'm not worried about the show. Whether it's Art, George Noory, George Knapp - or whoever - I think the show will continue to fill the airwaves at night.
It may be at a low at present again, but it always comes back.

Just have Art take HIS show back and save coast... Let’s face it, coast to coast is a sinking ship with "him" at the wheel. The show is totally unlistenable and "he" sounds like such a snake oil salesman. I’m not trying to be nasty just a realist. I do feel like there is hope with Art doing more and more shows.
