J.C. Vs. Oscar?
found this on Wikipedia:
In February 2005, Bell received a call from a person calling himself "Oscar" proclaiming to be "the Son of Satan." Oscar had since also called George Noory, but disappeared after a June, 2007 on-air confrontation with J.C.
does anyone have actual dates on either of these shows?

The call with Art Bell was on February 6, 2005. A "spontaneous" mini-debate between J. C. and Oscar hosted by George occurred on June 29, 2007. There were plans for a later full debate but this never happened.
Oscar who says he possesses the body of a man named "Dimitri", among others, also called George numerous times between these events and was one of the least credible and most obnoxious regular callers in "Coast" History in my estimation. At least, J.C. has a unique charm and is interesting. Oscar is both charmless and boring and lacks J.C.'s strange but real charisma.

I remember that call, it was rather poorly done as I recall - obviously pre-recorded and very gimmicky. Almost as fake as the time they played JC leaving a message on Timmy's answering machine.

By "George", I think you've got it!:D
I am soooo glad you're back LM:) .

thanks for the date, I have this show (w/Art) downloaded, I will have to check it out...
i want a debate
i want debate between demtri and jc
I heard Art say on a recent show - I believe it was the one on Satanism - so much he didn't call in that night, and his Facebook page has been idle for about a month now, he's fairly certain JC is no longer among the living.
If he's right, it ever does come to pass I fear we won't be seeing a Demitri-JC debate without an accompanying seance.

jc is dead what
This link verifies what I said about what Art said about JC -morgusjc wrote: jc is dead what

OTOH, a poster in this Memorial thread @Bellgab relays news of a change to JC's purported Facebook page, supposedly updated by his sister-in-law Petunia Pringle, who says he's in a deep coma -

So maybe Art is wrong? A deep coma isn't dead, but if you never come out of it, it's the next best thing...
Then you're WAY more optimistic than Art is.morgusjc wrote: i don't think jc is dead
Pushing up daises OR in a deep coma, it's all the same to listeners isn't it? If he's not one of the two, and IS capable of calling in to the show, JC could dispel any and all speculation on his untimely demise just like that -
In the meanwhile I suppose it's ok to ponder on potential debate matchups, a fun if not totally futile endeavor even if chances of them actually coming to fruition are far more in the territory of absolute zero now than not...!
