Just noticed this thread now, but I have to say I think all of you are right on the money. Just listened to a bunch of old shows this past week in my downtime and it just gives me a feeling I haven't had in a very long time. He's just incredibly talented when it comes to steering the program. Even when Art guest hosts/hosts some weekends it doesn't feel like the same show and it feels like Art is hosting a show that isn't "his" anymore.

Even if Art had a show 2-3 nights a week that would be great, I just think radio needs him right now.

alleyrulez I wouldn't sweat the small stuff, I don't think it is a dream, contracts are broken all the time and they are always in the company's favor, especially in radio.

Don't know if you guys heard, but Art did suggest a few times that he's "taking a break." I would expect him to return to the weekend schedule in about a year. He's just taking time with his new child.

As Art said the other night, "Never say never...." when someone predicted he'd be back full-time. Wish y'all could've heard me shout a big Rebel Yell when I heard that, but then, you probably wouldn't have heard me over your own "WOOOOO HOOO!!!!!!!!"
